Poet is from our very first litter, and he and Heather have certainly exceeded our hopes and expectations, proving that the versatility we sought in that breeding was indeed in the genes. Thanks, Heather!

Agility: Poet finished his Open Agility and Open Agility Jumpers titles in high style with multiple placements after earning his AKC Novice Agility title with three first places, including a perfect score on his third leg. Since then he's been cruising right along ~ look at those titles!

Obedience: Poet earned his AKC Companion Dog title in three days with two seconds and a third, scoring high enough to qualify for the Gaines Pupperoni Obedience Regionals in 2000! In September of that year, Poet earned the first two legs of his AKC CDX at back-to-back trials. WAY TO GO!

Working/herding: This handsome young dog also earned his AIHDA Basic Herding Instinct certificate on April 12, 1998, and his first leg of his ASCA STDs title in December with a first place and a Most Promising Newcomer award, his first time out! And in March, he earned his AKC Pretrial Tested (PT) title. On May 1, 1999, Poet completed his STDs and earned the first leg of his STDc, earning another Most Promising Newcomer Award! Since then he has completed the STDc and earned one leg each of his OTDs and OTDc, and his STDd.

There's just no stopping this guy! And he's also earned his American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen certificate (of course!). And on and on he goes!

The success of this young dog is a tribute to Poet's talent and Heather's training -- and their teamwork!!!

Poet and Heather are also members of a performing dog obedience team. This boy really is in motion!

Poet lives in Mississippi with Heather Dickinson, her three other dogs, two cats, and his very own flock of sheep.
