Rowdy came to Perennial in 1999 with a bundle of titles -- thanks to Roger Stevens for Rowdy's working titles, and Brenda Wendt for Rowdy's ASCA CH and CD.

Sheila and Rowdy hit the AKC rings together in 2000 and completed Rowdy's AKC championship and novice obedience title.

Rowdy lives up to his name, and suffered 2 unfortunate injuries that slowed down his career a bit. In 2001 he hurt his back, and in April 2002 he broke his leg. We tried in 2003 for his CDX, but he came up lame twice after jumping the high jump, so he is now officially retired from competition.

Rowdy makes friends wherever he goes, and has been a popular visitor to school classrooms, where he helps kids learn about safety with dogs and about our responsibilities to the creatures who share our lives and our world.

As a sire, Rowdy has more than proven his value to the breed. His pups have followed in their sire's pawsteps, earning titles and training in conformation, obedience, agility, herding, flyball, flying disk, and tracking. Rowdy's Perennial pups are just starting their careers ~ watch for them! Not surprisingly, Rowdy's puppies are intelligent and high-drive, terrific companions for the right people, but, like all Aussies, not for everyone. Despite his many accomplishments, Rowdy was a regular guy. He loved belly rubs and

ear scratches and hanging out on the couch watching The Animal Planet. We will miss him.
