Susi lives in Anchorage, Alaska, with Marty Cashen and a bunch of Siberian Huskies. Susi gets to play with her brother Stryker almost every day, and they have a great time together. Susi really was a little summer surprise. We thought Satin was finished after four puppies were born, and I went to sleep finally at about 2 a.m. I was sleeping on my trusty new-puppy inflatable mattress right next to the whelping box, and I woke up an hour or so later and checked the puppies. I counted 1, 2, 3, 4, fi...wait a minute! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5!!! Little Susie had been born and was all dried off, fed, and tucked in for the night by her mama. Susi has several ASCA reserves, and is also training in obedience, agility, and herding. |
